The Walk to Charity Pt.1

Today was fun. A day without the "other" people, ie. Tim and Sourav. (not talking bout you all, Shahid and Wayne.) I arrived at the West Coast CC at 8am. Too early. Should have slept more. Should have walked instead of taking a bus; it was way within walking distance. While waiting around, I loitered at the Ginza area, Comics Realm (not opened at that time.), 7-11 (OPEN!), Coffee shops, etc. After a long while of can-doing with some 205 guys, Andrew FINALLY arrived. Chit-chat, blah blah blah, walk around in circles, and then suddenly, the people in the CC suddenly grew, with Ms Chua leading the way. We split into our teams, here is the line up:

Team 3
Andrew
Chester
Dillen
Me
Praveer
Zik
Hui Wen
Joanne
Michelle
Tricia

Team 4
Wei Ren
Jamos
Timothy
Sourav
Lester
Hilda
Gaya
Natalie

Our Team were accompanied by 3 ladies: Shu Hui (Appearantly, she is Dillen's 2nd cousin) and 2 other ladies. We were furthur split into groups of four when we were collecting the goods, Me and Andrew paired up with the two beautiful ladies. The rest of the day was fraught with cramped lifts, lots of stairwells, squeezing into chairs and tau poks. Me and Andrew got to slack. There were 3 groups of us and we got the lower section, ie the first 4 floors. That includes the ground floor. Which makes that 3. Hahas. Somehow or another, Tricia and Joanne always manage to finish early. Lucky. At the end, while everybody was stoning, I had to go with Shu Hui to some auntie's house to collect a few things. Few indeed. There was this huge ass radio player that hippies walk around with, a pair of stereo systems and a lot of clothes and newspaper. Diao. I feel like a hippy, walking around with that radio. Must be some form of punishment for slacking one floor off. Here are some interesting things we got:

A repairable cassette player
A fan
A Eeoh plushie (from Winnie the Pooh)
A Karoke set
A LCD flat screen (0.0)
A whole working computer set (!!!)

The lunch was okay I guess, not much of a Nasi Lemak though. Fried rice plus chilli plus chicken wings. Anyways, blah blah blah, we got back to the CC. Appearantly Hilda's team finished early, which was surprising, considering them having Tim and Sourav. Report. Not much of a debrief, hang around (btw, expect a lil renveng for poking me, cheryl >.> ) , rush to the no-gst shop, rush back, rush to Central just to meet WR, Tricia, YS, Joanne, Ting Ting and... (eh oh, whos that?) Got there a bit late though. They were already eating dessert. Couldnt finish mine. WR ate the rest of it. Diao. Chit chat, talk sick, crap crap, laugh laugh. Diao. WR was quite irritating though, he kept using that rolled up piece of paper to blow air into my ears. Gay. (according to Tricia, only couples do that 0.0 ). Blah blah blah. We made our way to the MRT. WR was still blowing into my ear. =.= I got darn irritated. Here is an extract of a convo on the way to the train.

YS: Dont test his patience.
WR: Really? I should test it then.
Me: Listen to the man. I dare you to though.
YS: Oh, thank you.

Lol. Just got back home. Now feet hurts, my arms ache, and I am darn tired. But it was a day well spent I guess.
